RETIRED FRIENDS
Champion Angara's Dalia (known as "Keeper" at home) is a beautiful black torbie with white with the most charming personality.
Her five-generation pedigree features 35 world champions/international champions/grand champions/champions from Moscow and St. Petersburg! Keeper was so engaging with Animal Planet's camera crew that you'll see quite a bit of footage of her on the Cats 101 episode featuring our Siberians. This little girl began her career in the show ring as a kitten in June 2009 and received many compliments from the judges. She also became a CFA champion with one show in December 2009. Keeper became the 9th best Siberian kitten in TICA (at the time) and ended the year as 3rd best in the northeast in 2009 with only that one show.
Keeper is now living with an absolutely wonderful family in Hopkinton, MA.

Angara's Calina (also known around our home as Snowball) with our Golden Retriever Bailey as an older kitten. She was retired from our breeding program as she simply did not want to have kittens despite our best efforts. Snowball is Rina and Tango's daughter, and she is as inquisitive, playful and smart as her dad as well as a total lap cat, but as sweet and docile as her mom, plus she retrieves little balls of paper, a skill she learned from her friend below. She is featured prominently on Animal Planet's Cats 101 episode (debuted November 14, 2009 on Animal Planet)...she was most cooperative and engaging with the camera crew!
This is an old photo of Snowball as an older kitten, but she is more beautiful now with a luxurious coat and broader muzzle!
Snowball now lives with a wonderful family as a truly beloved pet in Lexington.

Champion Edelweiss Idnakar of Angara, otherwise known as Max, was imported from St. Petersburg and has a pedigree that includes 20 international and grandchampions and champions! On the paternal side, Max is the grandson of European and World Champion Jonathan-Timange and European Champion Veilchen Prinzessin, the son of International Champion Amour-Timange of Fialka, and the great-grandson of Grand International Champion Ralmond Marcell. Max's mother is Grand International Champion Edelweiss Rafaella. Max did very well in his brief kitten show career and attained his Champion status in his first show, with the judges commenting on his incredible coat, well-muscled body and great head. Max is now retired and a most beloved pet living in Greater Boston with Steve Leveille and his wife Diane. You can watch a story about Max and how he changed his new family's life on Animal Planet's Cats 101 segment on Siberians.
